Republic First National announces its completion of $3.35 million in ambulance financing for the City of New York. Angie Deming, President of Republic First National Corporation, said “FDNY saw a sharp increase in emergency transports due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These vehicles will be placed into service to assist with increased call volume.”The 19 vehicles include nine Ford E-350s, three Ford E-450s, two Ford F350s and five Ford F450s sold by Braun, Demers and Crestline. FDNY, the largest municipal fire in the United States, took delivery of the ambulances over a two-week period with final delivery June 4th.
“Many municipalities are facing widescale budget challenges due to decreased tax collections attributed to COVID-19. Installment sale or lease purchase agreements help bridge the budget gap allowing municipalities the ability to buy the equipment it needs now and still have cash flow,” Angie Deming said. “We were grateful to have the opportunity to work with FDNY and the ambulance manufacturers.”
